Battlefield of shallow graves

Question, am I correct in assuming Shadowlands CANNOT use this terrain because it is a Political card?

If you can't take Political Actions, you can't play a Political Battle Terrain.

TDWWM and Tenshu Sensei

Question is, can I pick target which I know will be legal after paying costs or not? Thanks.

The Targeting Step comes before the Pay Costs Step, so the choice has to be legal BEFORE you blow up your Personality.

P'an Ku / Egg of P'an Ku questions

If my opponents stronghold is The Towers of the Yogo, if I used the Egg of P'an Ku on one of his Samurai, would the Egg get the ability granted by the Stronghold? (I would assume it would, since the ability is considered to be on the samurai).

No. Egg of P'an Ku specifically states, "this card becomes a copy of that Personality's printed card plus all permanent changes in effect on it."

The printed card doesn't haev the ability and the ability granted by Yogo Towers is not a permanent card change. The Personality only has the ability as long as he is a Scorpion Clan Samurai under that player's control, as per the card text.

Similary, would the Dragon P'an Ku be able to copy that ability, as per his own?

P'an Ku could copy the ability. He doesn't say anything about things being permanent or printed.

Someisa Sensei

During battle Can a monk personality not in a battle bow to unbow a ring?

No.

What about one at a different province?

You mean different from the Current Battle? No.

I wanna say no, because it has no relevance to the current battle

That's exactly true.

During battle Can a monk personality in the battle bow to unbow a ring?

Yes. That would require targeting and bowing a card in the current battle, thus satisfying Relevance.

I say yes because it would change the force totals

It doesn't even have to change the totals - just targeting or bowing would qualify.

Ring of Air (or any other I guess)

However one of my playgroup claims he has been told that a ring must be in your hand during the entire time you play all the spells or kihos (or battle actions or duels I'd gather) required to put it into play.

There is no such requirement. It is still the third or later spell or kiho cast in a turn, no matter where the Ring resides.

You just need to have the ring available to play (typically in your hand) once the Spell or Kiho is considered "successfully cast" (IE - after all costs are paid and it isn't canceled), or you'll miss your timing window to play it (since it is played like a Reaction would be played).

That should cover everything from Tuesday. If I missed your question, please repost it with the flag [RULES] as part of your Clear and Distinct subject line and I'll get back to you at the first opportunity.
