Retro L5R Questions
1. Say the opposing player and I have one province remaining. I also have a Kusatte Iru in play. He attacks me and takes my province. I use Kusatte Iru's ability. For the purpose of Open tournament results, who won?
"Cannot produce a tie game since its ability is used after your Provinces are destroyed. Your opponent will still win a Military Victory even if you destroy his last Province as well, because he destroyed yours first. [FAQ 3.3]" (Accumulated Rulings, "Kusatte Iru")
2. Would Goju Hitomi count for the Death of Onnotangu event?
Of course. She's Experienced 3 Mirumoto Hitomi just like Hitomi is Experienced 2 Mirumoto Hitomi. (card text)
3. Is Silent War a Delayed or Immediate Terrain?
Terrains are delayed unless otherwise specified, from what I recall of the dark days before Immediate and Delayed Terrain traits were printed on all terrains.
Kuros, but no Summon Air Kami
In other words, if I have to announce my amount, how much do I have to announce against a personality in Xushen's army and if it gets redirected will it bounce?
How can that possibly matter?
Xushen says, "Reduce the strength of all ranged attacks targeting cards in Xushen's army ..."
Kuro's Fire needs to be directed against targets that are opposing. That means no matter where you redirect the Ranged Attacks, they still have to be in Xushen's army, and consequently reduced, no? The only thing that would change the situation would be moving / removing Xushen between the announcement of the RA and producing the effect.
