Greetings,

Essence of Gaki-do rules question (Zen, Vaughn)

Does Essence of Gaki-do’s action satisfy the rule of presence by bringing personalities into the battle?

Yes.

On: Gaki
Rules question: Bowed monks and Takao's Gingasa

can a bowed monk cast kiho's like Chasing Osano-Wo or Sharing Strength while it has Takao's Gingasa attached (assuming its the first kiho its casting this turn).

Yes (http://l5r.alderac.com/rulings/#Kiho).

Rules for 10 December 2003

When a card that a TchTch player has taken from an opponent is destroyed it is removed from the game (Stronghold text)

That you for the correction. It's sometimes hard to remember every nuace of what's printed on a card...

When will Tsuko's Shrine be legal for sanctioned play?

Since it's the current tournament participation promo, I was just wondering when it would become legal for play.

Released after Reign of Blood, right? So that would make it when The Hidden City becomes legal.

Where Kami Walk question

Is it a) My shugenja casts Kuro's Fire and no player's personality may cast Kuro's Fire during that battle b) My shugenja casts Kuro's Fire and I may not cast it again, including other copies of the spell c) My shugenja casts Kuro's Fire and I may not cast that printed copy again d) My shugenja casts Kuro's Fire and that shugenja may not cast it again

C.

I assume shugenja other than the primary one involved in a ritual must still bow as they are not considered to be casting the spell?

Yes (Diamond rule, pg. 90).

Rules question

Are the followers created by Ratling Village tokens or cards?

They're both (Diamond rules, pg. 71).

No Pen + Paper

So give the "notes" to your opponent after the game. 1) It keeps the notes out of circulation. 2) It keeps people from recording things they shouldn't, like non-public knowledge (cards in a province or in hand after using Ninja Spy or Oracle of Air), or Zen's home phone number.

As if my phone number's some great mystery. "Hello? Directory assistance?" (And that's the long, hard way!)
