could I simply use the Farm's Reaction to produce 1 Gold then immediately bow it to produce another 1 Gold, producing 2 Gold when paying a single card, effect, etc?

Can Keen Eye cancel a Flee the Darkness played in response to Stand or Run or Show me Your Stance?

What I don't understand is how a player can opt for an illegal outcome.
I'm leaving this specific question for Jeff. What I will say is that the question of rules for cards that force opponents to make a decision are being looked at quite closely right now.

under this logic, a player who's made ranged attacks using Kuro's Fire whose total strength = Force+Chi, could go on to produce a final ranged 0 attack, pump it up with whatever cards he has available to do so, thus increasing the ranged attack's strength above 0, and by doing so that player will have exceeded Kuro's Fire's limit, even though Kuro's Fire specifically says that the total strength cannot exceed Force+Chi. Is this the case?
