Greetings,

Rules question - test of magic/witch hunt and spells that destroy the caster

What happens if my opponent casts a spell that destroys the caster as a cost, like purity of the 7 thunders, and I try to cancel it with test of magic or witch hunt?

There can't be a blanket answer, as it will depend on how each card is worded. Witch Hunt can be played but will have no effect. I know nothing about this Test of Magic of which you speak.

Double question

In play is non-unique Personality Bob. I Egg of Pan Ku Bob. Since the Egg card becomes an *exact* copy of Bob, why does it retain its Unique trait?

It used to due to card text. It may no longer do so, since the wording has changed in Diamond Edition. In other words, "Left for Jeff Alexander."

Question about Far and Wide

Umm, Zen? Then what did it do?

Whoops. Got twisted around as to what rules had changed in Diamond. Sorry.

[taps on mic] "Hey everybody! Forget the dumb thing that Zen said!"
