Greetings,
Shinjo Rao question
Can Shinjo Rao use his ability to move into the current battle from the province he assigned to during infantry?
Yes.
Force Duels
[D]oes it not follow that one can 'To Do What We Must' any entire bowed unit with even a force 0 unit with 1 personal honor[?]
Correct.
Three Stone River question
Does Three Stone River raise your force if your personality has lower force than their attached follower?
No. "Lower the force..." (card text).
More wedge questions...
Wedge and Kaiu Hisayuki: Let's make this brief, is it force +1 doubled, or force doubled +1?????
The latter (card text).
Quetsion
When my opponent gains honor can I react with both Rhetoric and Noh Theater Troupe?
No. Noh Theatre Troupe is used "after" a player has gained or lost honor (card text). If you redirect the gain/loss "before" the loss or gain with Rhetoric (card text), the other player's honor never changes.
Sunda Mizu Dojo question...
Sunda Mizu Dojo. If this targets a personality with zero force, does that personality die honorably or dishonorably?
Honorably. Effects typically resolve in the order printed on the card.
Say No to Stagnant Corruption
So, as it stands players must take their best guess at how many and of what cards will count as "Tainted" or "Corrupt"?
Players aren't guessing blindly. It has been quite clearly set out what cards are associated with corruption (in the broad sense) in story terms: cards with the Shadowlands trait, cards that cause self-inflicted honor losses, etc. The more such cards you put in your deck, the more likely it is to be viewed as corrupt. If many players put such cards in their decks, the more likely it is to catch the notice of the story team.
It seems to me that some people people only want hard guidelines so that they can assuage their conscience by staying just under the "legal limit," so to speak, and convince themselves that no harm will come of it. Sure, people. Whatever helps you sleep at night. ;)
I understand the Story Team needing some leverage, but isn't this like being "a little pregnant"?
You lost me. I'm not following the analogy.
