Common Sense re: Tactitions?
the question remained, did they say what they meant. Is that important? To me it is.
I don't think you've heard anyone on the design / rule side saying any different. Nobody's said, "Come on, people, it's explicit, gramatically correct and understandable by squishy things found on the bottom of boats."
The point was made quickly and forcefully: people find the current rulebook wording confusing. Okay -- the point's been made. Message received and understood. Thanks to all who drew it to attention.
Now, given that, what can design and the Rules Junta do? Make a ruling as fast as possible, and print a correction or clarification in the next available rules sheet / rule book. In other words, things went about as well as could be expected.

Whenever someone looks to the Rules Archive before posting a question to the L5R list...
Where ever there is a player who actually looks to see what a card says before calling over a judge in a tournament...

Field of Glorious Slaughter
If a victorious army contains dishonored personalities, what happens during Battle Resolution if "Field of Glorious Slaughter" has been played by the winner?
The terrain generates honor, so is unaffected by the presence of dishonored Personalities.
Ring of Earth
Ring of Earth. Does it cancel, negate or prevent the personality from being target by movement actions?
