Rules for 10 October 2003
A rules digest from the L5R CCG rules team, copied from the mailing list archive for Oracle of the Void. The askers' names are left out. Rulings are as they stood on this date; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Greetings,

I know that L5R has a burden of old and loosely worded cards and errating them sounds like a bad option but is the gigantic rulings document any better (especially as it's mostly filled with card specific rulings that have a history of contradicting each other)?
Not really. Both answer questions. Both require you to look something up on the internet. Since if they do the same thing, you've got a lot of to do to convince me that all the work to comb through and change the text of many thousands of cards would be worth it.
And I contend that very few rulings contradict each other -- now or ever. I'd love to hear any current examples, so that the Archive could continue its asymptotic march towards perfection.
