Rules for 10 September 2003, Part 2
A rules digest from the L5R CCG rules team, copied from the mailing list archive for Oracle of the Void. The askers' names are left out. Rulings are as they stood on this date; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Greetings,
Honor
When i add honor to my family honor, is it alway permanent, or some times it is temporary?
It is usually permanent, but there are some honor gains that specify a duration.
DE Spoiler
Where can I find a complete DE Spoiler, including the MRPs?

Gempukku
I use Gempukku to bring a courtier personality into play as a shugenja. Do all the abilities the courtier have become "innate abilities"?
Yes (Gold Edition rulebook glossary, pg. 73).
Mempo Questions
Does the Obsidian Mempo of Fu Leng count itself when looking at Obsidian cards[?]
No. The bonus is for "*other* Obsidian cards" (card text). Another copy of that card will count, but not the same copy.
Also, since it states that its printed Force and Chi are equal to the number of Obsidian cards I own, if I have three of each the Obsidian Mempo's, Magistrates, and Mines is that three 9 Force/9 Chi Mempo's[...]
As mentioned above, +8F/+8C would be the max.
[...] that cannot have their force negated with In Search of or anything else that works of bonuses since it is considered the cards printed stats?
Correct (Rules Archive, General Rules, Bonuses and Penalties).
Barren Fields
My friend told me that there was a general ruling stating that whenever a "If..." condition is not verified, you just ignore the rest of the card.
As Jeff Alexander said, there's no such rule.
Whenever someone says that, ask where the ruling was. Rulebook? Rules Archive? Local tournament judge? Somebody on IRC? I worry about there being a lot of dodgy information out there. I selfishly worry about my name getting attached to it, too.
Moon and Sun - Shrine of the Sun
If an event has resolved twice thanks to Moon and Sun, and then gets reshuffled by Shrine of the Sun, which effects are canceled : only the effects created when the event resolved for the second time, or all the effects.
Shrine of the Sun says, "End all ongoing effects of *that card*" (card text). So it snuffs all effects that physical copy generated.
If two different copies of the same event resolved, the answer would be different. Hm.
