Another "Show of Good Faith" Question

A question about the following card struck me:

Make Your Choice

Open: Give one of your bowed or unbowed Personalities without your faction trait, the Unaligned trait, or the Shadowlands trait, +1/+1 permanently and straighten that Personality, if necessary. That Personality swears fealty to you and permanently loses other faction alignments

If I grab someone's personality with Show of Good Faith, and then (assuming it meets all conditions as listed) play Make Your Choice on that personality, what happens? They obviously permanently gain +1/+1, straighten, lose their current faction alignment and gain mine. But I'm unclear on exactly what "swearing fealty" means beyond that, if anything (the accumulated ruling are silent on it). At the end of my turn:

"Fealty" is in the Glossary, on page 72. Swearing fealty means permanently adding your Faction's trait to the card. That's all.

a) Does this personality remain mine since they've "sworn fealty"?

b) Does this personality return to their owner, but with my faction alignment and +1/+1?

If I am using Diagotsu as my Wind and no Shadowlands cards can I bring Hida Tockichiro into play?

Yes. Daigotsu is not a Shadowlands card.

Hoshi exp 2?

can hoshi exp2 attach the dragon claw katana for free, Celestial sword of dragon, or any other items that have dragon printed in the title?

Yes. He cannot attach ones that say "Dragon Clan" for free, though, unless they also say "Dragon" somewhere else. You cannot break up faction alignments into separate words.

Hoshi Chuichi + TWT

How much honor can I redirect with Hoshi Chuichi and the wind's truth? Only 4 or 6? (with his bonus for being bowed (+2F/+2C))

4. He needs to have a Chi at least equal to the honor's size when he bows, not after.

If I play Tireless Assault on Matsu Domotai while I am a defender, I know he can not move into the Battle but will he still straighten?

Yes.

When a Personality has a Tattoo of the Void, that unit does not count towards Presence or for any other card or effect that requires you to have a Personality in the battle, such as Barbarian Horde or declaring a naval invasion. But it is still there, can still be targeted and affected by things, and can still use its actions.

What about not having a personality in the battle?

Huh?

For example, if I have 2 personalities defending and 1 has the void Tattoo, can I play Come One At A Time and issue duels with the person that doesn't have the Void Tattoo?

No.

If you need to know whether you have units in the battle -- a yes/no question between "zero" and "more than zero" -- then ignore the Void Tattoo units before answering. But only then. Come One At A Time needs you to have exactly one. That's not "zero" or "more than zero", so the Void Tattoo does not matter.
