Nature Provides Ruling Question
I am assuming that the ruling means that you can cast this spell regardless of whether or not you are producing gold through other means.
Right.
[W]hy was it ruled that way?
Because Jeff said so, and nobody tops Jeff. ;) Seriously, I think it's because "when you are producing Gold" is broadly worded, in contrast to "when bowing a Gold-producing holding" or something.
The ruling is still accurate and in force.

If you haven't revealed your stronghold, how can your add your family honor?
You remember that cut Focus value until you reveal your stronghold.

Is the Daigotsu wind counted as a shadowlands card in terms of coruption for story line tourneys?
Not really a rules question, more a design / story question. Rich Wulf's office is down the hall and to the left.

If a shadowlands player supports one of the CLans in the clan rivals tournament kit can said player ignor honor requirments for the cards?
Not unless the rules in the kit say so. I don't know if they do. Again, not really a rules question, but more an Organized Play / brand question.
If I play a to do what we must and a unit that has a Kolat/ninja/Assasin card in it does that trigger Vengeful Dead?
No.
Night Battle and Kaneka's Advance
I've got a question.
No preamble needed -- just ask it! ;)
Night Battle was played and I had no Shugenja in the battle. I had Shugenja in another battle, however, and wanted to use Kaneka's Advance to move my Shugenja into the Night Battle battle.
Can't do it. "No player without a Shugenja... in this battle can take actions." The Shugenja must be there to make any action (besides detroying the terrain) legal.
Rules question for Zen or Jeff
As per the Lion Onisu, it plus all other attacking Tsuno get a +2 force bonus while attacking in one battle together. Does this aaply to Tsuno followers?
Do you mean Nikushimi? Yes, Tsuno Followers get the bonus. Tsuno Items, too [Keyword rule].
