Rules for 13 April 2003

Zen Faulkes, sent 14 April 2003 to the l5r-ccg mailing list, the l5r-useful list

A rules digest from the L5R CCG rules team, copied from the mailing list archive for Oracle of the Void. The askers' names are left out. Rulings are as they stood on this date; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Greetings,

ruling: Cut and shuffle

can a player shuffle his deck again after you have cut it?

Not according to the Code of Bushido. Once again, it's here: http://www.legendofthefiverings.com/ccg/code_of_bushido.html

Riff-shuffling opponents' cards

Btw, sorry for naming names, Zen.

No big. The guideline isn't "don't use names at all" and never has been (this ain't Parliament!). It's just a reminder that discussion on this list should be about the game. Making posts about a person is risky, because there's there's no body language, facial expressions, or tone of voice in email.

Shuffling

I maybe be ignorant of this but Why give a nezumis anatomy about how a person cuts/shuffles a deck?

Someone cared enough to ask. Obviously mattered to him. Others cared enough to comment. Obviously matters to them.

If you don't think there's anything worth reading on the list, please feel free contribute something that is. :)

ruling: Cut and shuffle

I would request that a formal ruling be made on the proper order to the shuffle/cut/cut for tun that takes place at the beginning of a game.

It's in the Code of Bushido (URL above). Has been all along.
