If two personalities get into a duel, and after revealing focus values, a poison weapon is played, when is the -3 chi calculated?
As soon as the action successfully resolves (i.e., is not cancelled, modified, or otherwise reacted to).
I thought that a 3 chi or less personality dies instantly and the duel does not resolve.
It depends on whether or not a Personality focused greater than zero, because focusing raises Chi immediately (Dark Allies rules, pg. 61).
