Can oni no ogon force a player to bow his stronghold[?]
Strongholds are not holdings. No.
can i play imperial scrutiny if my opponent loses honor [from sending an allying unit while Deeds, Not Words is in effect]? In other words is the honor gain/loss due to the allying card or per rules as dying dishonored.
Where is it physically printed in ink that you gain 2 honor for sending a unit as an ally? The rulebook. Imperial Scrutiny cannot be played.
Poisoned Weapon
Part of the problem seems to be in the rulebook with the phrase "immediately grants your personality a secret chi bonus". I was of the understanding that the resolution is where the bonus is added.
What I am about to say is not sarcasm, but an honest attempt to understand where the confusion is created. You've obviously looked at the rulebook. Why aren't you taking what it says at face value?
A long time ago, I wrote, "The cards aren't trying to fool you." Well, neither is the rulebook. :)
