Greetings,

Do ninja shapeshifters target the card they copy?

Doesn't it fall under the clause that says that if a cards effect only affects itself that it does not target?

You didn't read the entire rule. The rule says, "An effect that applies only to its own card does not target *ITSELF*." It may still target another card.

Ninja Shapeshifter targets the card it copies.

Has anyone official made a ruling on this?

Yes.

Do ninja shapeshifters target the card they copy?

If the Shapeshifter doesn't target, what would be the point of Visage of the Void?

Irrelevent. Visage of the Void was printed over 4 years before the *current* targeting rules were written. (Yes, Visage of the Void still works... but just because it used to work that way doesn't mean it still does. See, e.g., The Jade Throne, Cultists, New Kimono, etc.)

rules question

solitary engagement: Who does the duelling?

The Personalities targeted and sent home. ("Your Personality... the other Personality...")

is the duel refusable? What happens to the winner/loser?

See Dark Allies rules, page 61. Yes. Death.

can personalities take reactions even if they are bowed[?]

Dark Allies rules, pg. 24. No.

I guess, then, that toritaka kitao cannot decline an iaijutsu challenge?

You guessed badly. He can, and the Iaijutsu Challenge is canceled when it begins to dishonor him.

what's the mrp for eternal halls of the shiba?
