Season of the Crab Kit
Does someone knows what exactly comes in the Season of the Crab set?
How many Hida Utaemon? A foil one?
I believe it's going to have 20 normal Hida Utaemon and 1 foil Celestial Sword of the Crab.
Fall on Your Knees question.
This may have been asked before, but can Fall on Your Knees cancel the reaction off of Campsite?
Only if the Campsite is used in response to someone moving into the battle once it's begun. Fall On Your Knees cancels a Reaction taken during the Battle Action Segment only. [card text] It can't react to a Campsite used during initial infantry or cavalry assignment.
Question for Jeff A.
As is stated in the rulebook that ancestors can not be moved or destroyed unless the personality is destroyed, I have 2 questions.
Peep A has an ancestor with an HR of 2 attached. Peep Z has and ancestor with an HR of 0 attached.
What happens to the these ancestors if I Kolat Master both personalities?
Nothing, since Ancestors aren't Followers.
Pesitant Rekai attack question
Jeff could you clear something up for me.
Diadoji Rekai (exp2) as a battle action moves into a battle and make a ranged 3 attack against a shugenja of an Asako Tower player (stronghold unbowed), and it's cancelled. What happens... a) the ranged attack is canceled and Rekai remains in the battle. b) it's all one action so Rekai enters the battle (campsite maybe used) and then was the attack canceled so ahe then leaves the battle. c) it's all one action Rekai NEVER enters the battle.
in the case of b or c; as canceled actions are concidered never to have taken place can the Rekai plyer then simply wait for their next action and do it again....
c) Rekai has to choose her target before any part of her action happens. The Towers of the Asako, by Stronghold text, cancels it when that target is picked, so she never moves. Furthermore, she does not count as having used that action yet, so she can try to use it again the next time her controller can take a Battle action.
A question about Yu
My friends and I have been a disagreement as to WHO can use the Yu trait. 1. In the DA rulebook it refers to samurai only. Can the other types of characters use Yu or is it JUST samurai?
Anyone card type can gain and make use of the Yu trait. This is clarified in the Broken Blades rulesheet.
2. On Hida Reiah (Experience) she has the trait all of her followers get +2 Yu. Now does that mean my followers have a Yu of 2 and they can use it as if they were a samurai?
Yes.
Dark Ring of Void
The Dark Ring of Void says:
Elemental Benefit: If you have no cards in hand during your end phase, you may force another player to discard a card from their hand. If you do so, do not draw any more cards this turn.
It does not say that you can only do this once per turn. Can you use the Dark Ring of Void to make another player (or every other player in a multiplayer game) discard their entire hand, one card at a time?
No. You have two choices: do it or don't do it.
If you can't force an opponent to discard their entire hand, then how about this... if you have more than one Dark Ring of Void, can you use them both to force another player to discard two cards from their hand?
