Hoturi Dueling Craziness
I'm wondering if this would work:
Hoturi challenges some smuck to a duel, changes it to one of honor, and then focuses a pair of focuses (possibly using Kakita tech). When the cards are revealed, Hoturi's controller plays The Unclean Cut, and then responds with Honorable Seppuku. He then has Shijin write a poem about the whole mess. This would gain you 25 honor for the Honorable Seppuku, then 25 more for Shijin's epic.
It would work only if Hoturi got Double Chi from somewhere. Otherwise, it's only 15 from the Honorable Seppuku and 15 per Shijin.
Rules Question
Maybe someone who knows the rules better than myself can answer this question for me...
I'm playing my crab military deck using Kyuden Hida as my stronghold. Its about the 10th turn and I have in my hand two ashigaru archers, a rally cry, hunter, ring of the void. After paying for hunter with my bushi dojo and I have enough gold to pay for the archers. I then attack and when the attack is over I play rallying cry, leaving me with the ring of the void in my hand. Normally I would receive a card for playing hunter by using Kyuden hidas reaction. Plus two more for the Ashigaro archers plus the one card for my normal draw.
My question is after I play rally cry can i play ring of the void?
Absolutely. It's the only card in your hand, after all.
If I can How many cards would i draw? 4 for my followers, or 5 for ring of the void, or 9 cards for both? It has me stumped...
Kyuden Hida and Ashigaru Archers give you extra draws "during" your Events Phase, which means you can delay taking them until after you've drawn five cards instead of one from the Ring. You'd end up drawing a potential eight cards (five from the Ring, two from the Ashigaru Archers, one from Kyuden Hida's reaction).
Kokoro Question
Kokoro reads: Kiho Limited: Bow one of your Monks to have the player or players with the fewest Fate cards draw a card. Then, draw a card.
When do you determine which player has the fewest number of Fate cards, before casting or after casting the kiho?
After it's left your hand.
Queestion about Morito, from Spirit Wars
the card Morito says :
When Morito is being assigned to a battle, assign one of your units to the battle.
what is the use of this ? Can't we do this all the time ? assign one unit after the other ?
Morito is Cavalry. He can drag an Infantry unit in with himself during Cavalry Maneuvers.
