Greetings,

Questions! I get to answer questions while Jeff's away! WheeeEEEee!

Rules Question about Rain of Emeralds

When paying full for human courtiers from your clan during your Dynasty phase, do they have +2 Personal Honor which you gain (per ruling on Yojiro Experienced 2 and Ki-Rin's Shrine Experienced) while the Emeralds are Raining since the event applies "until the start of your next turn."

An exactly correct application of the ruling. Yes.

Norikazu

Can Isawa Norikazu/Agasha Hamanari cancel Sneak Attack if they are in the battle when it is played?

Sure. Sneak Attack certainly affects a battle.

Okay, I know that both "7th Sea" and "Legend of the Burning Sands" are/were set in the same "world" as Rokugan...

Only LBS is.

I know the Scorpion where exiled to Burning Sands, and the Moto returned from there during the Hidden Emperor arc, but besides this, what, if any, crossovers have occured between these three games.

Probably the most notable was the return of Shinjo (not a Shinjo, the Shinjo) from the City of 1,000 Stories. There are several other minor ones. Where do you think the Scorpion got a Bronze Lantern that summons Jinn?

Would it be worth it to me as an exclusively L5R player to but some old sets of these other two games? (I mean are there any storyline, character or other background that I might find interesting?)

I wouldn't recommend buying it if you weren't going to play it. LBS stands proud as a fine game in its own right.

If I wanted to get a basic introduction to 7th Sea or LBS, what would be the best way to go about this?

The first three LBS sets -- Shadow of the Tyrant, Secrets and Lies, and Black Hand, Black Heart -- are still readily available. The only one I'm having a *devil* of a time finding is The Awakening, the last set. Which is a pity, as it's my favourite set by far. (Any tips from the crowd on who has boxes of Awakening left?)

Can anyone tell me where to get a map of all three settings and their relationship to each other?

For LBS: North: Sand. East: Sand. South: Sand. West: Sand.
