Ok I've just though up a combo and I wondered if this would work.
If a personality is brought back from your discard pile does it retain abilities/permanent bonuses that it got before dieing.
The destruction of a card in L5R does not change the duration of any effects currently active on the card. Permanent and even temporary changes stay on it in the discard pile.
If it does then it means a tattooed guy with an Arrowroot and Crane tat can go into battle and then bow to cancel the death of one of your personalities in the battle by basically going home bowed.

on a side note if this combo works could you use it during the resolution step of a battle to prevent another personality from dieing.

when are the APC promos legal to play with ?
At the same time as the cards in the first full set released after they are.
ex: A Celebration says on it APC card 1/7 promo. is it legal to play as of when APC was legal or whe the next set comes out which is AOF ?

if it's with AOF then it's going to confuse a lot of people since the card is officialy part of the APC set. Please advise on this.
They were *printed* when APC was. If they were part of the set, they'd be in the set, wouldn't they?
