New Favor Rules And Kita Yoshi Exp.
I was playing an open game with new favor rules and Someone pulled a play I thought was great, but wondered how it fit with New favor rules.
Kakita Yoshi Exp. Allows you to reate one of the favor abilities after any player uses favor. so the crane control player, playing with Kostan Shiro and Naseru does the following: 1. She Discards Favor to Re-honor of her personalities. 2. Uses Gaining Favor to use favor again to Re-honor another personality. 3. Bows a diplomatic Aprentice on Yoshi to use Kaneka's ability to circulate dynasty cards. 4. Bows Kakita Yoshi to use Sezaru's ability to draw an extra card.
So to put this all together quickly she re-honored two personalities, then cycled cards, then gained an extra card draw. Now aside from the outright cleverness of this I was wondering if that was a legal play. With new favor rules you are usually constrained to the abilities on your wind, but Yoshi alwows you to use ANY Standard imperial favor action. So, was that play legal? Are Judge said it was and I had to agree, but how does Yoshi work with new favor rules in an open enviroment?
With the new Favor rules, there are no "standard Imperial Favor effects". Yoshi's Reaction cannot be used.

Thirdly, can he react when someone's used Acquiring Favour? My guess is no, because the Favour hasn't actually been discarded.
I would agree with that (keeping in mind this only matters when you're using the old Favor rules).

I am amazed by the reaction to Sakamoto. That was easily the cest card we had seen so far (until Akuai showed up.) He is a great military peep. The HR is only 6! Unless you are playing corrupt you will have that in a couple turns. What is the problem? -- Rusty Priske

6HR to a Crab is not the same as 6HR to say the Phoenix, Lion or Crane.
Well, no. It's about 9HR. Comparing him to a 6HR Personality in a Clan that starts at 7 doesn't make much sense.

What does "Once Per Turn" mean? as in
"Battle: Once per turn, if Sunetra has fewer than two Followers, move this unit to another Province."
Does this mean once per turn in the battle (ie: defender's, attacker's) or once per turn as in the time between the straighten phase and the end phase of a player?
The time between the straighten phase and the end phase of a player. I'm not sure what you mean by "turn in the battle" (though I think you're referring to the option to take an action or pass).
