A rules digest from the L5R CCG rules team, copied from the mailing list archive for Oracle of the Void. The askers' names are left out. Rulings are as they stood on this date; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Gold Dragon Enlight/Honor
They changed the wording, but they failed to put on the card that the effects of not winning by enlightenment was permanent. So an archival ruling had to be made afterwards.
I think you're taking a sentence out of context. The ruling you refer to covers the rare situation where the kiho-played Ring card leaves play and gets played again, for real, later that game. I don't believe there was any confusion over how long the Ring fails to count towards Enlightenment under normal circumstances.
Foil Celestial Swords
Do they exist?
Yes.
I heard something about them and I'd give half my left arm to get my hands on a Dragon one.
Winning a Season of the Dragon tournament will work too.

[Another Time] is no longer a reaction. So its effects occur automatically once revealed. So the duel is canceled. This occurs before Poisoned Weapon.
Poisoned Weapon says play this card during a duel.
"during a duel after players reveal Focus cards (if any) and before the duel resolves". That's still after Another Time takes effect and calls the whole duel off. Nothing has changed timing-wise.
I would now assume you could not play it during a duel that no longer exist because it has been canceled.
You'd be correct.
Why we should support Crab...
Don't forget - 5g will buy you Blacksmiths, too. (that's for the non-corrupt Crabs out there.)
Remember - with 5G, Kuon, Kuroda, Tatsune, Tenshu, Kagore, and Reisha all become off the box personalities. That's an awful lot of force, people. This stronghold may push Crab attack to the top ranks.
You're forgetting the line that says "Your Stronghold produces 1 less Gold when paying for a Personality or Follower."

Poisoned Weapon does not target anything because it says so. The Turtle's Shell targets the ranged attack.
I would like to point out the Poisoned Weapon does not say that it does not target at all, it say "This action does not target the Personality." This is very different then not targeting at all.
While true, since that Personality is the only thing that *would* have been targeted if not for that line, the result is as I stated: Poisoned Weapon is not a targeted action.
Prior to Gold where not all things targeted
Not all things target post-Gold either.
that would have been an obvious call but now it would seem to target something, just not "the Personality." The reason that I bring this up is that many of the dueling cards are un clear on what they target. I asked about a lot of these a while ago and was ignored.
Well, if it affects one or the other Personality, like the Oracle of Fire or the Double Chi kiho, it targets that Personality. For things that affect the duel itself, read on.
At that time I sugested that poisoned weapon targeted the other players personality. That was made without looking at the MRP and is clearly wrong. I would like a ruling on what is targeted by Judgement of Toshiken.
I've spoken with Dave about this, since his is the mind behind Doomtown's targeting rules, which I modeled Gold Edition's after because they were better-defined. L5R's targeting rule #3 isn't broad enough. It needs to be expanded to include all actions with global scope, such as Judgement of Toshiken and Deadly Ground, not just those that affect "each" or "all" of a certain category of card. You can consider that an official rulebook corrigendum as of right now.
