Hello. I have a question that I know the answer to but I cannot word it right so it sounds logical. A person controls Yasuki Daiki and uses his action on another players personality, the player does not pay the gold or lose any honor. That player declares an attack assigning no one to attack. Then, he tries to move the person into a battlefield and attempts to justfy it by saying that he has no army there at the time, thus he is not assigning into an attacking army. I know this to be false logic, but I cannot seem to find the right way to explain it so it is clear for both sides of this argument. Thanks.
Yasuki Daiki vs attacking army
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Per the CR entry for Army:
"When "army” is used to refer to a side of a battle that units are being moved to, assigned to, entering play in, or created in, this does not imply that an army must already exist there; the location can have no units to begin with, as an army is being brought into existence there."
