Errata to Emperor Edition legal (and Kolat Edition legal) cards, effective immediately:
1. A typographical error was discovered on Bayushi Irezu, allowing him to be used it a way neither intuitive nor intended by Design. Effective immediately, the following technical erratum applies to his second ability. It should read:
"Battle: If Irezu is at home, target another Scorpion Clan Personality you control: Move him home. Move Irezu to the current battlefield."
2. Terrains printed in Before the Dawn ("Rocky Terrain" and "The Killing Grounds") lacked this restriction in their ability:
"If there are no Terrains at the current battlefield:"
This was remedied on reprintings of those cards included in Emperor Edition starters, following the Most Recent Printing rules.
3. The Honesty of the Phoenix and The Sincerity of the Dragon both received errata prior to release that their action removes the card from the game after use and may only be used if you are a Phoenix or Dragon player, respectively.
4. Per this announcement, Raido no Oni now has the following trait:
"Will only enter play from a province."
5. Shinjo Dak-Ho (BtD) was printed with an ability that erroneously created a 2F/2F/2PH Personality. He should therefore read:
Unicorn Clan • Samurai • Cavalry • Scout Battle: Create a 2F/2C/2PH Unicorn Clan • Samurai • Cavalry • Scout Personality at this battlefield. Remove him from the game after this battle ends.
6. Effective immediately, the following technical errata on The Price of Honor (Before the Dawn) should be observed. Changed text is in purple. The change was necessary because the rulebook seppuku action is not performed. Note also that "will not be affected by" is stronger than negation and overcomes "These effects will not be negated" in the seppuku effect sequence.
The Price of Honor Strategy 0GC 1FV Political Limited: Choose your performing Courtier and target another player’s dishonorable Personality: He is asked to make a sacrifice. The player may show you his hand. If he does, you may discard a card from it. If he does not choose this, his Personality will not be affected by the rulebook seppuku action.
7. Utaku Tairu Experienced [BtD] has the word "Personaliy" in his ability. Obviously, this is a typo and meant to read "Personality".
8. Offending "a" before "battle" removed from The Empress' Address by technical erratum here.
