If I target a dishonourable Henshin (with no attachments) with Dispensing Justice, and my opponent uses the Reaction on Waystation of the Path targetting another Personality at the current battle, what happens?
The Henshin is not destroyed because of the Waystation reaction, but is the overlaid Personality now sent home?
Waystation of the Path Reaction: After another player's action targets your performing Henshin, target another of your Personalities: The Henshin is reborn. Transfer his attachments and tokens to the other Personality. The action's effects that would destroy your Henshin instead overlay him onto the Personality.
Dispensing Justice Battle: Choose your performing unbowed Magistrate and target an enemy Personality: If he has no attachments and is dishonorable, Kolat, Ninja, or Shadowlands, destroy him. Move him home.
Corollary: if the Henshin is overlaid onto a Personality at another battlefield (assuming this is legal because reactions ignore presence and location), is he now sent home from that battl;efield?
On a related note, if the Henshin did have attachments/tokens, would he still be destroyed (and overlay instead) if the Waystation's Reaction is used, because the attachments have gone when the effects of Dispensing Justice are applied?

Once the Personality is overlaid, it is no longer considered to be the original Personality. Therefore, any pending effects after the destruction do not affect the new Personality unless they would have affected the overlaid Personality as well. In both of these cases, the new Personality would not go home.
If the Henshin had attachments, they would transfer, Dispensing Justice would attempt to destroy the Henshin, and he would then overlay instead.
