Gold production

L5R CCG Rules board, 24 August 2011

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I have a basic question. if in my actions phase, i bow a holding(daimond mine) to pay for an attachment, and then straighten it (using yamazaki), Can i use the holding again to purchase another item or use it during the dynasty phase?

my confusion comes from the fact that gold production is a trait on most holdings. however i was unsure if the gold producing trait is comparable to other actions and is limited to one use per turn.

Yes, if you unbow a Holding with a Gold-producing trait you've already used that turn, you CAN use it again.

Actions are always (and only) preceded by "Battle", "Open", "Limited", and/or "Reaction" in bold. Traits are not actions, and so they are NOT limited to Once Per Turn by default.
