A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

in response to viewtopic.php?f=59&t=91765 (i felt that the answer was not clear)
1)declare an attack 2)assign 3 units to attack the same province 3)react with Kyuden Hida (Experienced) and create up to 3 scout followers 4)bow Imperial artificers to pay an extra 2 gold for one of the followers. draw a card and discard a card. 5)start battle etc.
is this legal?

From the quoted bit of the FAQ (http://rules.l5r.com/CE_FAQ#Can_I_draw_ ... s_token.3F): "(Y)ou are allowed to overpay the token Follower’s zero gold cost using Imperial Artificer and gain its benefits that way."
Would appreciate any input on how to make that clearer.
