A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Refering to viewtopic.php?f=59&t=90543 we've been wandering how Reckless Rush works with Rocky Terrain.
Relevant text:
Rocky Terrain Before this battle's resolution: You may bow one or two attacking Personalities at the current battlefield. Battle: Put this card into play at the current battlefield.
Reckless Rush Battle: Bow your performing Personality and target an enemy card without attachments: Bow it. Destroy it if it is an attachment or its base Gold Cost is 0. Before this battle's resolution, straighten your Personality.
It seems that the situation is almost identical to the one mentioned in the topic linked above. That would mean that the active player would decide the order of both delayed effects. Yet today my friend found in Comprehensive Rules a sentence that contradicts the ruling. We need an explanation.
Multiple delayed effects being applied at the same time will happen in the order they were activated. [ADDED 6 May 2011]
Now suddenly active player has nothing to say and effects are meant to kick in order of playing, if I understand it right. May I ask for clarification on that ?

Under discussion.
Note, however, that Rocky Terrain has a triggered trait, not a delayed effect.

I've asked a question in this topic viewtopic.php?f=59&t=91252
It's being discussed for quite a while now and we have a local tournament on thursday, on which such a ocurrence is highly possible. Could we please get at least some guidance on how to resolve such and issue, if it happens before some changes in comprehensive or whatever needs to be done? I understand, that it might not be easy to solve, but I would require at least a ruling concerning those two cards.

Roger has removed the offending line.
The delayed effect of Reckless Rush, "Before this battle's resolution, straighten your Personality," and the triggered trait of Rocky Terrain, "Before this battle's resolution: You may bow etc," both trigger "Before this battle's resolution," and both occur in step B of the Timing Sequence, so the active player choose which resolves first.
