Question regarding being reduced to zero force while a trait pump is in effect and then leaving the battle and returning and if the trait's effect is reapplied. I have checked this forum with a search and tried the Rules Wiki but I am still a little unsure so just asking to get a "final word" as such.
Possible rules I found: http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Card_features#S ... to_a_value Or this: http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Card_features#Continuous_traits
For my example, using these cards: Akodo Senichi - Lion Clan, Samurai, Deathseeker Senichi has +1F while attacking. Reaction: Before another player's card effect destroys on of your Lion Clan Samurai Personalities in Senichi's army, destroy Senichi: Negate the Personality's destruction. Gain 3 Honor.
Disarm - Kiho Battle: Target your Monk: Target an enemy Personality. If he has no Weapons, reduce his force to 0. If he has any Weapons, destroy one of them. You may attach a Weapon from your hand or discard pile to your Monk.
Basically, Senichi has 4F when attacking and if I read the rules correctly, then Disarm basically gives him a -4F penalty to make him 0 force. What I want to know is that does this change if he leaves and returns to the battle?
For example, he gets disarmed, blows himself up for something and then gets willed back (or sent home and sent back in, whatever really) does his force penalty change because the "minimum" amount needed is now actually only -3F to reduce him to zero and then when he returns his trait kicks in again and bumps him to 1F, or will the game remember that he had been given a -4F penalty and so when dead or home he is actually at -1F and then when returning to battle he just goes back to 0F?
