Quick question regarding Control. Can the personality controlled straighten if the samurai bowed at any time since Control was first used or does the samurai have to be bowed at the time the controlled personality wants to straight (ie. during Straighten Phase, at announcement of straightening action, etc.)? My guess is that when you want to straighten, you check then and there if the samurai is bowed or not...there's no memory?
Control and bowing
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

If the Samurai bows at all ever, Control's effect ends.
