Alot of people i know are confused at how combat actualy happens.
So after my open phase, i declare an attack. then begins the assignment phase for inf. and cav. both defense and offense. then i pick a province at which to begin the first battle. provinces [1][2][3][4]
ok after we both pass at province [1], resolution happens we both total up force and then declare who the winner is. Now here is were we get confused. Do we destroy the losers army now, then bow our personalities in the attacking army and send them home and discard the card and move deck closer to the other provices and begin the battle at the next provice? or do they not bow or go home until every battle is finished?

Yes (tthough I could get picky and say going home is the second last thing in the list, not the second).
