Yes, an amusing and unforseen side effect of giving a keyword to Personalities that is a defunct card type is that Legacy cards, unless/until errata'd, won't know the difference between the two. Therefore, yes, Guardian of the Rift and Ancestral Shrine will affect/count both Ancestor cards and Personalities with the Ancestor keyword.
