Distractions in court Reaction: After another player’s action is announced, bow your performing Courtier or Magistrate: Reduce all Honor losses by 5 until the action ends
Ambush Limited: Target your unbowed Personality: Create a battlefield (not at any province). Assign your Personality's unit to attack there. Assign another player’s target unit to defend there, even if its Personality is bowed. Other units will not move there. Fight a battle there (after this action's resolution). After the battle ends, lose 5 Honor.
If Distractions in court is played in reaction to Ambush, will it reduce all honor losses for every action and effect at the Ambush battlefield, including Bayushi Jutsushi (basic) targetting the target of the ambush, and the 5 honor loss to the player that played the ambush?

The Reaction on Distractions in Court will reduce all Honor losses by 5 until the action from Ambush ends (see Action ends). Fighting the battle is a delayed effect that begin after the action has ended (see Battles), so Distractions in Court will no longer apply. The loss of 5 Honor from Ambush happens after the battle ends, so it is not reduced. However Distractions in Court will reduce any Honor losses that happens before the action ends, such as the delayed effect from a basic Bayushi Jutsushi that happens after a Personality assigns.
