I am pretty sure I know this answer, but I want to hear it from one of you before I tell anyone else. If I have a shugenja with any of the -1c tokesn from Essence of Destruction and I attach a Resilient Naginata, it negates the chi penalties, but does that also remove the tokens?

The tokens stay.
Tokens are not removed unless a card effect removes them or the card the tokens are on leaves play.
