If someone has already been affected by Shameful Injury and is later given a token-based force bonus by an action (let's say laughter in the flames) does their force increase?

If "later" happens during the same turn, then no the Personality gains no Force from such a token because Shameful Injury's second negation effect lasts until the turn ends, but he will gain Force from this token after the end of that turn.
Effects, Duration and scope of negation effects: "If a type of continuous occurrence is being negated [...] then [...] all continuous occurrences of that type are negated while the negation is in effect, and reassert themselves afterwards."
