A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi,
I couldn't find this anywhere in the current rules wiki. However I remember reading somewhere, or being told, that at resolution of a province destruction, the card is turned faceup, and then discarded.
If that IS the case, would a Celestial revealed in this way immediately enter play?
If that's not the case, then that question is naturally irrelevent.
Thanks in advance

The contents of the province are discarded. All cards in the discard pile are face up. It is not the other way around. Celestials in a province destroyed by battle resolution do not enter play.
