Taking control of Isawa Fosuta Exp

L5R CCG Rules board, 17 September 2009

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Player A got Isawa Fosuta Exp and use his ability and let him bowed. During a battle, player B move Fosuta in the battle (Unpredictable Strategy for example) and take control of him with Daigotsu Exp3.

Can player B straighten Fosuta (with ring of Air) as he like or can Fosuta's straightening still be negated by player A?

Thanks for your answer.

The latter: player A can still negate Fosuta's straightening.

In the effect "While Fosuta remains bowed, you may negate his straightening" (Fosuta's text), 'you' is the player who controlled Fosuta when this effect began.
