Daidoji Murata's action says 'target two provinces', does this mean he cannot target my last province? Or, may I target that province twice? Or, may I target my last province and then one of my opponents provinces to satisfy his action?
Daidoji Murata and targeting provinces
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Daidoji Murata's action says 'target two provinces', does this mean he cannot target my last province? Or, may I target that province twice? Or, may I target my last province and then one of my opponents provinces to satisfy his action?
Kicked upstairs. Will get back to you.
Daidoji Murata's action says 'target two provinces', does this mean he cannot target my last province?
Does not mean that.
Or, may I target that province twice?
Or that. Targeting one thing twice is not targeting two things.
Or, may I target my last province and then one of my opponents provinces to satisfy his action?
That's fine, as text just says, "two provinces," and nothing about which player they belong to.
