Is the honor loss caused by the death of a dishonored spider clan member negated by the stronghold? Or is the honor loss caused by the other player killing the personality?

Is the honor loss caused by the death of a dishonored spider clan member negated by the stronghold? Or is the honor loss caused by the other player killing the personality?
The loss is a rulebook effect (see Comprehensive Rules, Effects). The Spider's Lair is only concerned with card effects.
If I'm playing any of the current Spider clan strongholds and one of my dishonored Spider clan personalities got destroyed, will I lose honor equal to the personality's personal honor or will I not lose honor because of the stronghold's trait?
