Kanshi v/s Kitsune Den

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. A player, 31 July 2007

Greetings... I've look around and couldn't find anything about this.

Well, here is. My opponent have many Dishonorable Personalities, and play Kitsune Den's action.

Kitsune Den Unique. Bow this card: Produce 2 Gold. Political Limited: Destroy this card: Rehonor one or more target Dishonorable Personalities. Gain Honor equal to the highest base Personal Honor among them.

Then, I play my reaction, Kanshi.

Kanshi Reaction: Before another player resolves a Political action: One of your Samurai or Courtier Personalities commits seppuku in protest. The player may choose to negate his action's effects. If he does not choose this, then after his action resolves, dishonor each Personality who performed it and he loses 5 Honor.

If he does not choose to negate the action's effects...what happend with the target Personalities. He can Rehonor his target Personalities? And then what? His Personalities are Dishonorable again by the effects of Kanshi? or he just lose 5 honor?

Thanks

A Personality or Follower is performing an action if its controller is the player taking the action, and any of these things is true:

* The action comes from an ability on the Personality or Follower. * The action comes from an ability on an Item or Spell in the Personality’s unit. * The Personality or Follower was targeted by targeting in the ability’s constraints block (between the two colons).

Kitsune Den does not target any Personality in its Constraints Block. All that section contains is "Destroy this card."
