Mountains of the Phoenix: Mountain Terrain Battle: Before this battle’s resolution, the Attacker and the Defender each choose a unit in their own army; the active player decides who chooses first. Then, destroy the chosen units.

Furious Assault: Battle: Target one of your Berserkers or bow one of your target Personalities or Followers: Lose 2 Honor. Target an enemy unit. Its controller may move it home and bow it. If it moved, it cannot move again this Combat Segment. If it did not move, destroy it after this Combat Segment ends.

So if Hida Kuon Furious assaults my Moto Chen, whom I choose to leave there, and i play Mountains of the Phoenix, can I kill Chen with mountains of the phoenix before the furious assault does?

If you have one timing trigger of "after" something ends in a sequence and another timing trigger of "before" the next thing in a sequence begins, the "after" trigger to the first thing in the sequence comes first.
