Domeed Intentions and Corrupt Adjunct

L5R CCG Rules board, 22 November 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

If during a game my oponent ataches a Corrupt Adjunct to one of his personalities can I use Doomed Intentions react to kill the personality?

I've made a similar question during Lotus edition regarding the Broken Sword of the Lion and the answer was no, but I'm not sure if that still stands right.

Corrupt Adjunct

After this card enters play: Dishonor its Personality and permanently give him the Shadowlands keyword.

Doomed Intentions

Reaction: After another player's action resolves that dishonored any of his own Personalities: Destroy one of those target Personalities. Battle: If there are enemy units at the current battlefield: Move one of your target units there. If it moved, straighten it. If you are the Defender, take an additional Battle action printed on a card in the unit.

Thanks in advance!

Dishonoring is not an effect of an action, it's an effect of a trait. No.
