Parley Political Battle: Target one of your unbowed Personalities: Target an enemy Personality. Give each target a Force and Chi penalty equal to his own Personal Honor; this cannot reduce Chi below 1.
Determination: Dark Virtue Reaction: Before you announce an action, target one of your Samurai: The action can not have its effects negated or have its targeting changed. After the action destroys any Personality, remove him from the game.
In a battle there´s a personality opposed with more PH than Chi. (Is not really important in what army) I play Determination and Parley. The personality dies since Determination overrides "cannot" clause in Parley (the efect of the reduction cannot be negated) or just have its Chi reduced to 1 since Determination makes that the "cannot" clause cannot be negated (because it´s an effect of the action)
Thanks

Determination won't help you get around a card's own self-negation clauses.
While it prevents the first effect from being Negated, it also prevents the Negation Effect from being Negated. The result is a wash.
Much like taking:
"I have some money," and turning it into, "I haven't got no money," conveys the same exact meaning, but makes you sound like an idiot.
