Alternative use of Lion's Strength

L5R CCG Rules board, 29 September 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A player, 29 September 2007

Suppose I assign a lion personality at Province A, leaving provinces B, C, and D. My opponents assigns his defenders to oppose my unit at province A. I choose to first resolve the battle at province B. My opponent passes and on my turn I play lion's strength targeting my personality at province A. And I move his unit to the current battlefield (B) fulfilling both rule of presence and location. Am I missing anything?

Lion's Strength Battle: Target one of your opposed Lion Clan Personalities: Target a Personality not at the current battlefield. Move him to the current battlefield. Straighten him if you do not control him.

All legal.
