I understand that Granted Abilities are not considered to be 'printed', but can a personality perform a granted ablitiy, such as the one granted by Ruined City, while bowed?
Ruined City: Your Spider Clan Personalities have the ability, "Battle: Bow a target unit with zero total Force or with the lowest non-zero total Force (including ties) among all units at the current battlefield."

No. That violates the "Abilities on bowed cards can not be used" rule (http://rules.l5r.com/Abilities_and_acti ... _abilities), because granted abilities are on the card (http://rules.l5r.com/Glossary_O#On).
