I know that the rule book says that Samurai and Courtiers can as a reaction to any action that would cause honor loss, commit seppuku to reduce the honor loss to 1, here's my question:
What if a dishonored person dies? Can he commit seppuku in response to his own death?
Say I had dishonored a guy (Matsu Yoshino), and then I dueled him (with Noritoshi)... when Yoshino dies, can he commit seppuku in response to his own death? I assume that he cannot, as the honor loss comes as an effect of a dishonored person dying, and the action that I targeted him with simply created a duel (one in which the dishonored Yoshino died).
Is this correct? ~KA

You are correct in that you cannot seppuku in response to death, as your personality is already dead by that point.
