A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Moto Chagatai experienced 4: "Battle: Even if Chagatai is bowed or has been in a battle resolution this turn: Move him to the current battlefield. If he is now opposed, straighten him."
Am I missing something or does this "Even if..." clause achieve nothing? There is no rule that prevents him from moving to a battlefield if he's "been in a battle resolution this turn". There is, however, the following rule concerning the Resolution Segment:
"A unit that was in the current attacking army at any point during a battle’s resolution can not move to another battlefield during the same Attack Phase."
but Chagatai's text doesn't ignore that restriction.

Yes, it does. Not sure where the confusion lies.
