Element's Path x2

L5R CCG Rules board, 17 September 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Let's say I had any given monk out, and I use Element's path twice to copy the ring of air onto them. Does that mean they'd get to straighten a personality twice in one turn, as 2 distinct abilities have been added?

Relevant Text: Elements' Path Kiho Open: Target one of your Monks and one of your non-Void Rings: Permanently copy an ability from the Ring to the Monk. The Monk permanently need not bow to pay costs of the copied action.

http://rules.l5r.com/Card_features#Abilities: "(A)bilities that are given to a card or player do “stack” – a card or player can have more than one identical copy of an ability, each of which is used separately."
