Reaction to multiples reactions.

L5R CCG Rules board, 14 September 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I have only one samourai personnality on my side of the table. It is the turn of my opponent, who kills one of his own personality and wants to react with multiple Assigning Blame.

What happens:

a- He plays one Assigning Blame, resolve it, then it is my turn to react with seppuku as my trigger is the result of Assigning Blame, and not the death of his personality, and I am the only one who wants to play a reaction to my loss of honor. Then, as there is not longer target for his other Assigning Blame, he cannot play them anymore.

b- He plays the three Assigning Blame, then only can I seppuku.

The main question is to know if you have to resolve a reaction before playing another (like the multiple counter-attack combo ruling from Gold), or if you can react as much as you want, then it is the active player which choose which reaction goes first?
