Lies, Lies, Lies... Political Limited: If you have no cards in play or in your discard piles that cause their player an Honor loss or have the Shadowlands, Ninja, or Kolat keywords: Gain 8 Honor; this gain can not raise your Family Honor above its starting value.
Chuda Hankyu +2F / +0C Weapon Battle: Destroy this card and dishonor this Personality: Lose 3 Honor. Destroy a target Follower, or Personality without Followers, with a Force less than 5 at any location.
Do I gain the Honor from Lies, Lies, Lies... if I have a Chuda Hankyu in my discard pile? The item itself does not cause an Honor-loss, it only has an action that does. Thank you!

Reversal on this. Honor losses occurring as unconditional effects fall within the bounds of "a card that causes an honor loss."
