Hello,

There are 2 groups of questions : 1/ A Personality with 3 base Personal Honor(PH) has 4 PH while in play.

If this personality is destroyed, I want to use the spell named Funeral Rites. Will the token have +3F or +4F bonus ? If the Personality is Hantei, will the token have +5F or +6F Bonus ?

If the personality was deshonored before the destruction, is the bonus +0F ?

Witch Personal Honor is used to know the stength bonus token, in play or in the discard pile ? May the personality PH be different than her base PH while she is in a discard pile or in a province?

2/ Hantei personal honor is 5 while in play, but his base personal honor is 6, isn't it? So if he use the Shuten Doji's Fury, can he bow 6 cards or only 5 cards?

The Spell : Funeral Rites : Reaction: After one of your personalities is destroyed, bow this Shugenja unless he has the Air keyword: Give one of your target Personalities a Rememberance token with a force bonus equal to the destroyed Personality's Personal Honor. You may straighten the target's unit. You may move him to any battlefield.

Utaku plains : Your Personalities have +1 PH and a maximum Personal Honor of 5 while in play.

Hantei : Unaligned Kami. First Emperor. Samurai. Courtier. Cavalry. Double Chi. Naval. Tactician. Unique Will not enter play unless a Kami Personality is in play. Reduce the Gold cost of cards attaching to Hantei to 0. Reaction: After a Political Action is taken: cancel it. Limited: Once per turn, target a non-Kami Personality. Gain permanent control of the target.

Shuten Doji's Fury : Battle: Dishonor one of your target Personalities: Lose 3 Honor. Bow one or more target cards opposing him without attachments, up to his base Personal Honor.

Best Regards.

Bye.......................Rémi.

A Personality with 3 base Personal Honor(PH) has 4 PH while in play. If this personality is destroyed, I want to use Funeral Rites.

All of these questions boil down to, "When does Funeral Rites check the Personal Honor stat?" To which the answer is, "After one of your personalities is destroyed" (card text). Bonuses rarely apply to out of play cards, so this usually means the base (printed) Personal Honor is checked.

Hantei personal honor is 5 while in play, but his base personal honor is 6, isn't it?

I don't see how you get 5. The card is printed with a 6; that's the base value.
